With a deep commitment to nurturing young minds, Alexandra Vasquez is dedicated to fostering positive emotional development in children.  Alexandra has worked with children of diverse abilities, including those with complex needs, such as Autism. Through this work, she has developed strong foundations of trust and effective communication with children and their families, providing each child with individualized support to thrive socially and emotionally.

Alexandra’s approach emphasizes creativity and engagement, as she designs and facilitates activities that keep children actively involved throughout the day. She has gained extensive experience working in both infant and toddler programs, as well as with children aged three to five, creating a versatile skill set that serves her well in Kelowna counselling settings.

Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, where she deepened her expertise in child development, socioemotional health, and Indigenous studies. Her education, combined with her practical experience and certifications in Early Childhood Education Assistance, First Aid, and Art Therapy, uniquely equips her to support families in meaningful ways. As a bilingual professional fluent in English, French, and Spanish, Alexandra brings an inclusive perspective to Crowning Life Counselling, enriching the experience for diverse families in Kelowna.

A skilled communicator with a talent for adaptability, Alexandra is passionate about promoting wellness for young children and their families.
